This section presents critical incidents from across the PaR settings that offer understanding to the processes of music co-creation in community music practice. I share examples of my collaboration with participants by zooming in on the starting points for material generation including; use of creative scaffolds, working from existing repertoire and realising a ‘fully formed’ composition.
