This section presents critical incidents from across the PaR settings that consider possibilities and challenges which can present through processes of sharing and self-expression in music co-creation. The examples I offer demonstrate that music co-creation in community music practice can involve an enmeshing of the personal, intimate and public. This leads to discussion of participant and community musician safeguarding, wellbeing and voice.
